چکیده

EPR measurements at X- (9.5 GHz), Q- (34 GHz) and W-band (94 on paddlewheel (PW) type post-synthetic metal exchanged DUT-49(M,M): M- Zn, Mn, Cu MOFs are here reported (DUT–Dresden University of Technology). Temperature-dependent X-band recorded from T = 7 K to 170 monometallic DUT-49(Cu), DUT-49(Mn), bimetallic DUT-49(Cu 0.7 Zn 0.3 ), 0.5 Mn ) MOFs. In the case II - dimers in an isotropic exchange coupling ions (2 J ?240(11) cm ?1 determined intensity S 1 spin state –Cu using Bleaney Blowers equation. The sign found constant confirms antiferromagnetic between cupric ions. Also, paddle wheels DUT-49(Mn) antiferromagnetically coupled. However, low temperatures, reveal presence monomers DUT-49(Cu) respectively, either associated with extra framework sites or defective wheels. Otherwise, signals observed for formation mixed ion –Zn –Mn CuZn =1/2 CuMn 2 states, respectively.

Solid-State NMR Spectroscopy of Metal–Organic Framework Compounds (MOFs)

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a well-established method for the investigation of various types of porous materials. During the past decade, metal–organic frameworks have attracted increasing research interest. Solid-state NMR spectroscopy has rapidly evolved into an important tool for the study of the structure, dynamics and flexibility of these materials, as well as for the ...

Single crystal-to-single crystal site-selective postsynthetic metal exchange in a Zn-MOF based on semi-rigid tricarboxylic acid and access to bimetallic MOFs.

The metal ions in a neutral Zn-MOF constructed from tritopic triacid H3 L with inherent concave features, rigid core, and peripheral flexibility are found to exist in two distinct SBUs, that is, 0D and 1D. This has allowed site-selective postsynthetic metal exchange (PSME) to be investigated and reactivities of the metal ions in two different environments in coordination polymers to be contrast...

The usefulness of EPR spectroscopy in the study of compounds with metal-metal multiple bonds.

This Perspective reviews some of the contributions that EPR spectroscopy has made for the understanding of the bonding and electronic structure of molecular species with metal-to-metal multiple bonds. The goal is to show how useful this technique can be in (a) elucidating whether unpaired electrons reside in metal-based or ligand-based molecular orbitals, (b) providing information on the metal ...

Metal and metal oxide nanoparticle synthesis from metal organic frameworks (MOFs): finding the border of metal and metal oxides.

Herein, for the first time, we report a generalized strategy for the successful synthesis of highly crystalline metal and metal oxide nanoparticles embedded in a carbon matrix by the controlled thermolysis of metal organic frameworks (MOFs). The rationalized synthesis strategy of a broad range of metal and metal oxides nanoparticles, such as Cu/CuO, Co/Co(3)O(4), ZnO, Mn(2)O(3), MgO and CdS/CdO...
